Kristen Frame joined Unified in 2020 as Business Development Director, to assist the firm with its continued growth. Her professional background includes client relationship management, investor education, and employee benefits, with a special focus in qualified retirement plans.
She spent 20 years at Principal, a leader in the retirement industry, in several of its US offices. Kristen worked with corporate executives to create benefit programs and oversaw the ongoing plan design, investment due diligence, and participant education. The more time she spent at client companies, she saw there was a big need among US employees for financial guidance.
In an effort to address financial wellness, Kristen was selected to pilot a worksite education program in the New York City region. The pilot was a success and led to a national launch. She became one of four regional directors to build and lead the program across the US. Kristen found it very gratifying to empower individuals to make better financial decisions for themselves and their families.
Kristen took a temporary break from the industry to spend more time at home. Though she loved the travel, client interaction, and being part of the Principal family, things were equally busy with her husband and three active boys back in Connecticut. After a two-year personal sabbatical, she was renewed and ready to continue her passion for helping people toward their financial dreams. She found a great match in Unified, where she can work close to home and family is a central principle.
You will find Kristen at baseball fields and basketball courts most of the weekend (and during the week!). When she isn’t supporting her athletes, she enjoys traveling, cooking, concerts, live theater, and kickboxing classes. She’s also a dog lover!
